interviewing phone call to gather information
necessary to capture the
images you need. Or you may receive an email with a questionnaire to
fill out.
What kind of questions will
you ask?
That depends upon the
type of photo you need. Almost all photos include a background,
foreground, light sources and subject. Where will the photo be
captured? What time of the day? Inside or outside? Who is the subject? Human, animal, scenery, etc. How many people?
What kind of animal, color, age, size, wild or
domesticated, etc. will be asked.
This will be discussed prior to the photo session. The answer is
different for each session.
The workflow process after your photo session involves selecting
images, checking the images with a histogram for any fine tuning
adjustments, and producing a web site where you and your family & friends
can easily view, select, and order prints and other forms of media. You
photos will be available for web selection ASAP, about two weeks.
Where will my photos be available?
An email will be sent to you giving the exact location of your new web
page.
Usually a link to that site will also be provided at the asherpics.com web
site under Customer Galleries.
Printed proof take about about two weeks.
- I like my sister's look in this photo, but
not my image. The image of one or more people can sometimes be
moved from one photo to another. In the case of a group photo
containing 382 people not everyone looked at
the camera at the same time. Fifty people from other photos were
moved to the photo with the most people
looking at the camera. This modification can be made with
permission for an additional fee.
- Can you remove wrinkles, skin blemishes? Yes, if
requested. Some skin characteristics are desirable. Let me
know how much to remove.
- Can you whiten my teeth?
Yes. This is automatically part of the workflow process before
developing the customer web page.
- Can you change the background or other
parts of the photo? Usually. This is determined
by each photo.
Indicate what needs to be altered.
Photos can be ordered on-line at the
asherpics.com website. Each photo will have ordering options under
the photo. Your photo request will be sent to a PayPal secure
shopping cart where shipping and sales tax (Missouri residents) will be
calculated. Payment can be made with most credit cards. PayPal
membership is not required. An email address is required. This
enables confirmation notifications, and tracking information to be
provided for you.
Can I order
different photos on one sheet of wallets?
Yes. Up to eight
different images can be ordered with each eight count wallet order.
The method to do so is by ordering the 8 wallets on one order button, then
select the "# of wallet prints" button to indicate how many of that
particular photo you want to order on the eight count sheet. That
button would be selected on subsequent images until each eight count
wallet sheet is filled.
A better way to order
these has not been determined. We are open for suggestions.
